Introducing the Chalkup Student Dev Squad

Exciting news today for the Chalkup team. We're launching a new opportunity for computer science students looking to get real-world coding experience.

The freshly-minted Chalkup Student Dev Squad will function as a 12-week program in which students learn from us here at Chalkup about how our platform works. The team will also work together to engineer Chalkup's next great feature.

We came up with the idea for Chalkup when in college. I quickly got to work with a team of individuals who similarly believed that their edtech experience could be better. With a few years under my belt, a student program felt like a very natural next step for us here at Chalkup.

This program means the world to me; not only will we give students the opportunity to work with real-world code, but we're ensuring that as our product develops, we don't lose the student perspective. We'll literally have a team of students who are using the platform and looking for places to improve as they map out our next great feature.

We'll be accepting applications through November 2,2015. Please spread the word to any great student coders in your life, computer science program admins, professors, and code-loving colleagues. You can find more information on the program right here.

Looking forward to welcoming some fantastic students to the team.
