Pop quiz: what’s the best way to test your class through free, fast (and kind of fun) digital quizzes? We have two suggestions for your Chalkup workflow.
It’s no secret that we love Google. (Ahem, see here.) This is why Super Quiz is one of our favorite ways to add an online quiz to Chalkup; this free app is powered by Google Forms. Create your quiz, build an answer key, and all submissions are automatically graded.
Because Super Quiz is based on Google Forms, a bonus is that you can use your quiz in Chalkup much like any other assignment. The trick is to embed it into our discussion space. You'll mark your conversation as a media discussion in Chalkup, copy the embed code that is paired with the Super Quiz you created, and paste it into the embed code space.
No need to have students create a separate account - you can integrate these quizzes directly into your workflow.
Flubaroo is another free quiz tool that seamlessly integrates with Google Drive, making it a match for Chalkup. Flubaroo quizzes can also be embedded in a thread by using the embed code option within a media discussion.
With Flubaroo, you’ll create and assign your quiz via Google Forms and use an add-on to automatically grade. Much like Super Quiz, this tool will generate a report of grading that allows you to assess not just how well each student did, but what questions proved the toughest for your students.
